About UsPrecision Avionics & Instruments (PAI) was founded in 1986, and has grown into the Premier FAA / EASA Repair Station in the Southeastern United States. Our facility encompasses over 32,000 sq.ft., (over 12,000 sq.ft. of Shops & Production Areas), an On-site Engineering Department, and over 37,000 line items in stock and ready to ship. Our staff of 75 Aviation Professionals includes 32 Bench Technicians (Average Bench Experience = 16+ years) to provide quick turn times for units that are sent in for Service. We are located adjacent to Hartsfield / Jackson International Airport for easy access to Counter-to-Counter freight connections.
PAI is one of the most experienced repair and overhaul facilities for helicopter components is the USA due to our long standing association with Precision Heliparts, Inc. as their primary provider of component maintenance services. These services are expanding because Precision Aviation Group, Inc. now owns Precision Avionics & Instruments, Precision Heliparts, Inc. and Precision Heliparts Canada. This combination allows us to serve many of the world’s most popular commercial and corporate aircraft.

(PHP) Atlanta, GA. FAA Repair Station #PY8R545X. Sells and repairs helicopter instruments, avionics, and accessories. Precision Heliparts Canada, Inc. (PHP-C), Vancouver, BC. Canadian DOT #92-02. Sells helicopter components to the Canadian market, the second largest in the world behind the US. Precision Avionics & Instruments (PAI), Atlanta, GA. FAA Repair Station #ZV4R714M. Sells and repairs aircraft instruments, avionics, and accessories. Business Highlights: Scott James founded PHP in 1993, and legally incorporated in 1994. David Mast joined as President and 50% Equity Partner in 1996. Successful growth allowed PHP to make the Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest growing small companies in 1999. In 2002 PHP opened Precision Heliparts Canada, Inc., and in 2003 PHP’s Repair Station was certificated. In late 2004, the company formed the Precision Aviation Group by acquiring Precision Avionics & Instruments. PAG has 75 full time employees and maintains 2 Distribution/Service facilities in Atlanta, GA and Vancouver, BC. The combined facilities have over 37,000 square feet of office/warehouse and shop space. They have 18 full time sales people and 32 Technicians in their 2 - FAA Repair Stations. In 2005, the Repair Station’s serviced over 12,000 parts producing over 78,000 billable man-hours of labor. They maintain over 37,000 line items in inventory and are exclusive distributors for a number of major parts manufacturers.
